SitejumpBot — our website reader

SitejumpBot reads publicly available website pages so Sitejump can prepare an audit or move the site to a new platform without losing content or search rankings.

It runs only after someone submits a public website address to Sitejump. A paid migration requires the customer to confirm that they control the website.

robots.txt controls

We respect robots.txt. Add one of these groups to allow or block SitejumpBot:

Disallow:
Block
User-agent: SitejumpBot
Disallow: /

We never ignore a block or impersonate a browser. We report the block to the person who requested the audit instead of working around it.

Crawl behaviour

SitejumpBot makes read-only GET requests. It does not submit forms or attempt logins. It reads pages in small batches with limited concurrency and normally makes one pass; transient failures may be retried after a short delay.

What we store

We store page content, metadata and images from the pages read. They are held for the person who requested the migration.
